Film Screenings at The Wheelwrite Imaginarium: Childish Things
Manchester gets the spotlight this September with Childish Things, an award-winning indie dramedy from filmmaking brothers Nick and Cash Cassidy. The film has already been filling theaters in Maine, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles — and now it’s returning to Manchester for a series of screenings at The Wheelwrite Imaginarium, Nick’s dad’s bookshop, where some scenes were even filmed.
The story follows a struggling musician who, facing pressure from his girlfriend to finally settle down, embarks on a cross-country road trip to sell his beloved blue tour bus. Funny, raw, and quietly emotional, Childish Things has been connecting with audiences everywhere.
These hometown screenings are a true family effort: the filmmakers will be there in person, and limited-edition merch — designed by BBA graduate Benny Genard — will be available.
